"Jason and his team are responsive and communicate very well. Jason helped me to get the benefits that I qualified for much faster than expected. I would recommend him highly. My case seemed complicated to me, but Jason explained everything in detail and made everything go quite smoothly. I interviewed several elderlaw attorneys prior to choosing Jason Neufeld."
“A strong recommendation for Jason Neufeld and his Elder Law firm - very professional, patient, reliable, and experienced. When my father fell terminally ill, I became responsible for his assets and finances overnight, including the daunting task to qualify him for Medicaid. I interviewed several elder law firms but was most impressed by Jason’s client approach and practices. Throughout the process, Jason and his team provided clear guidance and support to successfully complete all the new and complex tasks required as a POA, and more importantly he enabled us to quickly achieve our goals related to Medicaid and estate planning. His fees are more than reasonable for the level of due diligence and support we received.”
Hiring an elder law attorney is a big decision - it is important to work with someone who has extensive experience, and that you can trust to always have your best interests at heart. Some questions you should ask an elder law attorney before making your decision are:
When dealing with Medicaid planning, estate planning, or any other aspect of elder law, there is a lot at stake. These are all highly specialized areas of law and mistakes can cause devastating effects. Hiring an elder law attorney to handle these scenarios will always be in your best interest, as they have specific experience that most other attorneys do not have.
The truth is, elder law and estate planning overlap in many ways. Both deal with management of your assets and making preparations for your future. The main difference is that elder law focuses more on planning for the use of your income and assets while you are alive, and estate planning focuses more on what will happen to your assets when you pass.
Medicaid planning is a crucial part of long-term care planning. Since most people over the age of 65 will need long-term care at some point, and the cost of this care is a lot more than most people are prepared for, Medicaid planning can help manage these costs.

Dagame Dominguez5 StarI'm writing a follow-up to my original review. I received a call from Ajani, letting me know of a miscommunication with the office. He was polite and apologetic and offered to answer my questions and get us with the right person. That person is Jason. Jason was able to meet with my wife and I on short notice to help with regard to my parents. The meeting was informative, with ample time allotted for us to ask questions and receive guidance. We plan on moving forward with Jason's help. Thank you Ajani and Jason.Wednesday 18th September 2024

Kushypokemon 865 StarOne word summarizes Elder Needs Law Firm: "Exceptional". I will say that Jason Neufeld, Jody, Tracy, and Sandra have made the experience above and beyond.
I am in medical field and I needed Power of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogacy, living will/last testament, and trust planning done for my parents and my family and the team was so great at handling everything.
Sandra made a great experience in how smooth it was to communicate with the team and she really accommodated around my schedule.
Jason went above and beyond in explaining everything. I had a long list of questions that Jason took the time to answer. He even has the YouTube video content which I find extremely helpful. His ability to translate legal terms into lay terms is a PLUS. Truly exceptional human being.
Jody went above and beyond as well. I have never seen someone so responsive. I am pretty sure she was "off from work" and still called me when I sent her an email. That dedication to work deserves merits and special recognition.
I would trust my whole family with this team when it comes to Elder Law. If I can give 10 stars out of 5, I would. Again, thanks everyone for making the experience so positive.Thursday 2nd May 2024
