Maria Camila Moreno Martinez1 StarI am the kind of individual that is always wary of when a company asks you for google reviews before services are rendered. Something that occurred in this case the moment we contacted them through a referral. Granted the referral had a case they were able to get a settlement out of and for this review it’s a key factor. Either way, on the first point of contact a review was encouraged after a five minute conversation that if I rated that on its own it would have been five stars. So let’s get to the actual process. My wife and I were hit and left with a total loss of a car that wasn’t our fault. Our main concern since we share the vehicle to get to work, was fixing the vehicle. Not a settlement. We contacted this law firm in the hopes they would at the very least guide us in how to be able to fix our car. We requested it and were always given vague information such as “yes they can fix your car” but no additional info past that o who they even are. Which if you’ve never been in a collision of this manner, can be daunting. Well we did receive vague updates and just told to keep up with our therapy, which as someone raised in NYC and no prior knowledge of insurances, I have come to learn is a common scam in Florida for PIP money from insurances. Referral money is always great isn’t it? Especially so they can provide minimal “therapy” and smack your insurance like you just had surgery. But I digress, anyways as we were impatiently waiting and having to exhaust our resources to know what to do with our car we were just always told “we are waiting on the other insurer” and my gullible self believing it was to fix the vehicle itself. But no, the entire wait over a month with no guidance on how to retriever or even get a vehicle was so they could find out if they could get a settlement or not. So here’s why that influenced my one star. Yes, money is important. But so is time and from the very beginning we stated how the vehicle was our priority. Not money in our pockets. At that moment the case should have been dropped and we could have been told her if that the case you figure it out, that would have been a nice courtesy. Instead we got put in hold for a month that costs us time AND money just to get a sped up rushed call with barely any explanation besides “ there’s no coverage, we are dropping the case because since the coverage is not required we decided to drop it” which to me translated my car won’t be fixed. So I bluntly asked that very same question to which the response was “oh that? Yeah that you can definitely get the car fixed but for that you’ll need to start the process with the opposite insurer yourself”, remember when I said the courtesy to tell us before? Let’s logically put two and two together and say maybe if this was the case our time could have been saved and not just only looking for the dollar sign. I’ve had representation on another accident that I had years ago which actually was able to not just guide me but provide the full service, and when unable to do so actually send a guidance notice to at least extend the courtesy of “let me genuinely help you”. Needless to say the experience is zero star to me because that one conversation of hearing my case was dropped only equated to, when we thought we could bill you that was awesome but otherwise we won’t even blink twice. So to me, thats zero customer and just greed. But nice to see how many people were convinced on five star reviews from their first five minute interaction. Just saying.Friday 10th May 2024
